Security

The security of the Watcher Finance protocol is our highest priority; our development team, alongside third-party auditors and consultants, has invested considerable effort to create a protocol that we believe is safe and dependable. All contract code and balances are publicly verifiable, and security researchers are eligible for a bug bounty for reporting undiscovered vulnerabilities. We believe that size, visibility, and time are the true test for the security of a smart contract; please exercise caution, and make your own determination of security and suitability.

1. Audit

   At Watcher Finance, security is our top priority. The system has been designed to be safe and secure, and we have spent all the necessary resources in order to ensure that the protocol matches the highest security standards.

   Watcher Finance protocol will be audited by Consensys Diligence, Certik, Peckshield.

   The liquidity pools will be audited by Defi Yield.

2. Insurance

   The protocol provides compensation for losses by managing risk using assessment based on analytics instead of voting or staking. The protocol is intended to help liquidity providers hedge their risk when there is potential of smart contract exploits. Watcher Finance protocol insurance claims will be automatically validated and requested within the network, and payouts will be made in a single transaction.

3. Bug Bounty

   We want Watcher Finance Protocol to the best and hence we are calling on our community to help us find any bugs or vulnerabilities. Submit a bug and earn rewards up to $200,000. Rules and Rewards will be announced shortly.

4. Admin Keys

   Ownership of the Watcher Finance Protocol belongs to WAFI DAO Governance, the group of WAFI token holders. Protocol upgrades or changes are decided by votes on WAFI Improvement Proposals. Feel free to join the community governance discussion.

5. Oracles

   Watcher Finance Protocol will be integrated with Chain Link to power the WAFI smart contracts which provides live price feeds for collateral and liquidity pool smart contracts. The Chainlink oracles reflect real time conditions on and off chain in the prices on the Watcher Finance DEFI Platform. Decentralization is the foundation of Watcher Finance DEFI Platform, and Chainlink guarantees a decentralized oracle service that cannot be exploited at a single point.
